Fiestas

Filipinos are fun-loving people who enjoy entertaining and are known to sing and dance very well. A fiesta is a town’s celebration of a special occasion. Despite its small area, Sipaway’s fiestas are larger than life. Each village celebrates different things throughout the year. The Pintaflores Festival is the biggest fiesta in San Carlos city. It is a thanksgiving celebration for the bountiful harvest of the year. Street parades are illuminated by the colorful costumes worn by the participants from the different towns.
